In 2015, Scott Weldon, Bob Callahan, and Chris Lambert were sitting around a table at a Starbucks, trying to figure out a way to make hats fun.

The idea came to the self-described “hatologists:” make limited editions of high-quality ball caps, sell them online through a monthly subscription, and deliver then right to the customer’s mailbox. Oh, and throw in a pack of Smarties candy rolls for fun.
